'Creative Sketchbooks; exploring the landscape'
Saturday 9th May 2026 8 spaces Join me for a 1 day workshop exploring your creativity in a concertina sketchbook.
Take your sketchbook on a journey using the landscape as a prompt - explore composition, colour, pattern and line and fill your sketchbook full of inspiration for future work. Let me guide you as you try out new techniques and use new tools and materials. All materials included. Suitable for all abilities - yes even beginners! |

'Exploring landscapes with print & collage'
Saturday 27th June 2026 8 spaces Join me for a 1 day workshop exploring landscapes with print and collage. A fun filled supportive session introducing you to the joys of using collage to capture a landscape in a loose and expressive way.
Let me guide you how to make your own collage papers (including using a gel plate) and then how to use those unique papers to create a collage inspired by a landscape image of your choice. Suitable for all abilities - yes even beginners! |

Venue
My 2026 workshops will be held at Stratton on the Fosse Village Hall. The venue offers a mix of outdoor inspiration as well as a light airy indoor space to work in; plenty of opportunities to fill your sketchbooks and spark off ideas for future work.

SKETCH & EXPLORE SESSIONS

Join me in my studio via Zoom where I'll be sharing how I take my sketchbook on a journey of exploration; a fascinating window into my decision making as an artist and how ideas are sparked.
It is an informal teaching session where I will be dipping into exploring landscapes and how they ignite ideas for further work using collage. It's a session where you can work alongside me or purely watch and take it all in. As a free bonus the session will be recorded for you to rewatch in your own time. Like sketching? - this could be for you.The first free 'Sketch & Explore' sketching session of 2026is taking place:
on Saturday 24th January at Avalon Marshes Centre, Shapwick Road, Westhay, Glastonbury, Somerset, BA6 9TT Meeting at 10.30am. It is an informal teaching session where I am sharing the joys of sketching outside. It's a session where there are no expectations - just the opportunity to sketch as part of a group and receive help and advice from myself and from each other.
